I have been associated with the Department of Hydrology and Hydrodynamics, Institute of Geophysics, PAS since my PhD which I completed as a Research Assistant (2011-2014). Then I was promoted to Assistant Professor (2014-2022) and Associate Professor in 2022.

I developed professional experience in fluid mechanics related to the environmental hydrodynamics focused on unsteady flow in open channels (PhD), sediment transport, and non-Newtonian liquids (PostDoc research). I dedicated effort to infrastructural activities to set up a hydraulic laboratory in my department and became the head of the Hydrodynamic Models Laboratory in 2017. Then I took up a fascinating endeavour with interdisciplinary biogeophysical research combining skills gained in IG PAS and my previous environmental education.
